• Click the link to complete the Bezier Game to learn about drawing with lines and anchor points to prepare for Illustrator. Video tutorial to get you started if you need some help.

• Download the Pen Tool Worksheet and then complete each example using the video tutorial to learn how to master the Pen Tool in Illustrator. The video shows an additional page that is not in your worksheet. You are not required to do those two examples.
• ~There are 3 different colors: blue, red and green.
• ~~The BLUE ones don't require any dragging, but involve clicking.
• ~~The RED ones, involve dragging, and sometimes a key needs to be pressed as well.
• ~~The GREEN ones also involve dragging, but this time dragging one of the handles of the anchor point you've just created while holding down a key first (alt PC/option Mac).
• ~File > Save As your file as last name + first initial_penwk.ai and File > Save As your file as last name + first initial_penwk.pdf. Submit the PDF file.

• Download the Adjusting Objects Worksheet and then complete each example using the video tutorial to learn how to use the Select Tool, Direct Select Tool, the Anchor Point Tool in Illustrator
• ~NOTE: in IL 23 and forward there is not a Remove Anchor Point but rather just hover over an Anchor Point with the Pen Tool and you will see the minus attached to the cursor so when you click on that Anchor Point it will remove it.
• ~NOTE: in IL 23 to see the the circles in the corners of a shape, the Ovtangle example, you may have to hold Command to see the circles to adjust if they do not appear for you.
• ~File > Save As your file as last name + first initial_objectwk.ai and File > Save As your file as last name + first initial_objectwk.pdf. Submit the PDF file.
